Raipur. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel offered a humble tribute to the late
Khuman Saav by joining the ‘Surta Khuman Saav’ program organized in Shaheed Memorial on Sunday night. On this occasion, on the request of folk artists from the corner of Chhattisgarh, to establish their statue to keep the memory of late Khuman Saav for permanent lasting, organizing the ceremony every year in memory of his and his name in the field of art. Announces the establishment of the award. The Chief Minister said that the contribution of folk artists to the creation of Chhattisgarh is an unforgettable contribution. The Chief Minister recalled the memoirs associated with late Khum Saawl. The Chief Minister has said that Mr. Saav died in Chhattisgarh’s folk art, there is irreparable damage. Many artists, including folk artist Smt. Mamta Chandrakar, Smt. Bachchan Kaushik, Smt. Kavita Vasnik, Deepak Chandrakar, paid homage to late Saav on Swaranjali. The Chief Minister said that identity of Chhattisgarh is from folk culture. Home Minister Tamr Dhwaj Sahu, Mayor of Municipal Corporation, Raipur, Pramod Dubey also presented his views on this occasion. At the end, the organizer of the program, artist Sunil Tiwari, expressed gratitude to all.
