Lucknow : 6-member students’ delegation of City Montessori School, Station Road Campus will be visiting South Africa to participate in International Mathematics Competition (SAIMC) being held there. This International Mathematics Competition is organized from 1 to 6 August at the Durban city of South Africa, in which students’ teams from approximately 30 countries will be participating. During the competition, individual and team contests will be held for junior and senior students. Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that the delegation of CMS Station Road Campus will be led by the Principal, Mrs Vera Hajela whereas a teacher Mr Snehashish Mukherjee will be the deputy leader. The students who will be participating in SAIMC comprise Rajshree Sangam, Nitin Kumar Yadav, Prerna Badlani and Sukrati Shah. Mr Sharma informed that the International Mathematics Competition will provide a golden opportunity to CMS students to exchange their maths skills and expertise with the students of other countries. He said that this maths competition is aimed at making latest information of maths available to the students, exchange of the knowledge of maths, increasing the feeling of world fraternity among the students of various countries, providing an international forum to the students to exhibit their maths skills and inspiring other countries to follow similar maths curriculum for the junior and senior classes.
